Background
Denita Skye began her career in fashion as a model walking the runway for numerous designers including Nichole Angelina Grazioli and Victor Hou. She also participated in Maryland, DC, and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks. Shortly after high chool, she wanted to expand her knowledge in the business so she relocated to California where she was later accepted to FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising). She couldnt stay away from the runway and her ability to sew mixed with her fascination in design gave her the confidence in knowing that fashion was truly her passion. Being trained by some of the industries best stylists, Funky Lala and Mshop (known for their work with Pharrell Williams, Beyonce, and Alicia Keys), she took in every aspect of what she learned and put it into her own work. "Its not necessarily about what you wear, its about creating an image." She lives by this motto. "I take what I do very seriously." Going from runway model to designer and wardrobe stylist, Denita Skye can meet your every need in fashion!
